Softening is a widely used technology for reducing hardness forming ions (Ca & Mg) which precipitate and scale at very low temperatures and pressures. Softening is a reversible ion exchange process wherein the hardness forming ions are exchanged with sodium ions present in the resin group.
We offer a series of pre-engineered packaged softeners to meet the needs of small and medium industries.
In addition, custom-built softeners are offered for larger requirements. Softeners are available as manual, semi-automatic and fully-automatic versions to suit our client's specifications and requirement.
The water softeners utilize a strong acid cation resin in the Sodium form to exchange the hardness salts in the raw water. Options are available in Mild steel and FRP vessels; Mono valves for the smaller units to multiple valves and piping for the larger units.
All Softeners are offered with a complete inbuilt regeneration system and brine tank. Both cocurrent and counter-current regeneration options are offered based on the inlet water quality.
